Evento Muro Lucano – Smart Democracy E+
Nell’ultimo fine settimana di Novembre l’associazione I Go, si è impegnata a realizzare un evento con la cittadinanza di Muro Lucano relativo al progetto Smart Democracy, progetto Erasmus che, appunto, sta dando vita in 5 Paesi EU iniziative di dialogo tra giovani e enti locali.Con questo evento abbiamo avuto modo non solo di rafforzare il concetto di partecipazione e cittadinanza attiva ma abbiamo anche potuto sensibilizzare i membri della comunità locale a quelle che sono le opportunità Erasmus e le modalità di partecipazione al programma.In quanto associazione giovanile crediamo fermamente che il programma permette a tutti di poter facilitare il dialogo e lo sviluppo di idee innovative. Per questo modo ci teniamo che sempre un pubblico più vasto possa conoscere il programma e partecipare alle sue iniziative.Per far sì che l’evento potesse essere partecipativo e che rispettasse i canoni del programma Erasmus ci siamo rifatti alla guida sviluppata con il progetto EU in countryside, guida sviluppata da youth worker per garantire partecipazione e formazione in zone rurali.L’evento ha riscontrato un alta partecipazione ed interesse anche ad altre attività che stiamo sviluppando per le quali ci aspettiamo di realizzare altre iniziative di informazione e disseminazione. On the final weekend of November, the I Go organisation attempted to arrange an event with the population of Muro Lucano related to the Smart Democracy project, an Erasmus project that, in reality, is giving birth to dialogue initiatives between young people in 5 EU countries and local authorities.With this event, we were able to not only promote the notion of participation and active citizenship, but also create awareness among members of the local community about Erasmus options and methods to engage in the programme.As a young organisation, we truly think that the programme allows everyone to foster debate and the creation of unique ideas. As a result, we constantly desire a bigger audience to learn about the programme and engage in its activities.We resorted to the guide established with the EU in the countryside project, a guide prepared by youth workers to guarantee participation and training in rural areas, to ensure that the event could be participatory and meet the criteria of the Erasmus programme.The event also saw a strong level of engagement and interest in future events that we are planning, for which we hope to carry out more information and dissemination operations.
